Heroes Episode 3 – One Giant Leap
Peter is really having a difficult time adjusting to his flying ability. Nathan still doesn’t want to hear about it, especially with a reporter nosing in on his brother’s  so called “suicide attempt”.

In Texas, Claire has eyes for the football captain, her interest made easier after a rival cheerleader claims credit for Claire’s rescue of the dying man in a fiery crash.
 
In Las Vegas, Niki still hasn’t finished her desert exploration, but she’s found something that relates back to her ex-husband and fugitive thug D.L.

Hiro returns to Tokyo who finally convinces his sidekick and fellow cubicle resident Ando of his powers. Ando thought Hiro was hitting the Sake too much. We see Hiro stop time once again much to Ando’s amazement. The scene also appeared in the 9th Wonder comic book.

In New York, Mohinder Suresh and Eden discovers Mohinder’s fathers secret diary, which leads them to some guy name Sylar. They decide to take a tour to Sylar’s house and discover many troubling pieces of evidence. One of them a map, similar to Mohinders father’s.

L.A. cop Matt Parkman finally convinces his FBI counterpart of his telepathic abilities which leads to an offer to join up to hunt a serial killer. The same serial killer named Sylar. We then pan over to a scuffle at FBI headquarters with none other than Sylar who has more ability imaginable. We clearly see he will be a future menace and key role in upcoming episodes.

Claire gets the attention of the star quarter back and they leave the schools bonfire to a quite place. When things get out of control during a scuffle, she falls down on a log, breaks her neck and is last seen with a stick lodged in left side of her neck. Lifeless.

At a Petrelli fundraiser, Nathan announces a secret about his father’s depression which lingered until his death. The typical politician, he then says his younger brother suffers from the same symptoms, in a ploy to diffuse any potential troubles which may arise.

Matt Parkman finds himself at a local bar to escape a marital spat where he eavesdrops on peoples conversation thanks to his special ability. A strange Haitian looking fellow wearing a strange looking symbol around his neck catches his attention. We then see Parkman face down on the bar floor.

Suresh and Eden alert the police but when they arrive at Sylars apartment, the place is clean as a whistle.

Peter and Simone are together under torrential rain, once again a scene from an Isaac Mendez drawing.

The final scene sees Claire Bennet, laying on an autopsy table, her chest completely opened.
