Matt Parkman is an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. He would like to become a detective, but has flunked the test three times due to his dyslexia. Parkman has the ability of a mind-reader and he can hear the thoughts of people around him. He first discovers this talent in episode two after hearing the thoughts of Molly Walker, a little gir
